Tips for Love Notes Basket:

This basket allows you to create messages that will be sent out as emails should anything happen to you. It’s an opportunity to give a special gift of appreciation to those who have influenced your life. These will be cherished more than you can comprehend so we recommend spending time here and then planning to come back and add more along the way. Consider…

  • Significant Other
  • Family Members
  • Friends
  • Mentors / Teachers
  • Colleagues
  • Neighbors
  • Church Connections
  • Professional Service Providers / Caregivers

Attaching a Video

The Eggacy team is working on new capability to record live videos. In the meantime, we suggest that, if you want to make a video message, you can use a service like YouTube that has a privacy setting so that only the person with the link can find the video. Then you can paste the link into the Love Note.

Keep Emails Updated

These love notes won’t be sent out until after someone triggers the emergency access option to your account (and you don’t respond within the 24-hour waiting period). SO – these notes could be sitting a LONG time! Because of that, we suggest that you update email addresses as your loved ones (recipients) update theirs.

Tips for Reconciling:

We are so sorry for your loss. We recommend that you, first and foremost, contact an expert for assistance. If a trustee or lawyer or any other person is listed, we suggest starting there.

We encourage you to print out all the information in your loved one’s eggs, as well as download all attached files, since their account will only be online for a few months.

*Tips are provided to simply kick-start your thinking. They are NOT legal advice and we recommend that you consult an attorney if you have any questions about estate planning or living trusts or any such matters.
